Sharks Send Six Players to 2025 NECBL All-Star Game

Martha’s Vineyard Sharks Shine in 2025 NECBL All-Star GameWhite River Junction, VT –On Monday, July 21, 2025, players and fans from the New England Collegiate Baseball League’s (NECBL) 13 teams gathered at Maxfield Sports Complex for the annual All-Star Game, showcasing the league’s top talent and fostering community spirit.

“This is the best time of the year,” said NECBL Commissioner Sean McGrath. “It’s like Christmas morning for me, with all the MLB scouts, fans, and the best players in the NECBL coming together. It’s a great day with perfect weather and outstanding performances ahead.

Martha’s Vineyard Sharks players made a strong showing for the South Division. Brayden Martin and Evan Appelwick earned starting spots in the lineup, while pitchers Colby McNeely and Rohan Lettow, along with outfielder Will Hampton, were also selected to the All-Star roster. Additionally, William Lybrook represented the Sharks in the Home Run Derby.

The Martha’s Vineyard Sharks (21-16) are positioned within four games of first place in the South Division as the regular season winds down.

NECBL action resumes Tuesday at 4:00 p.m. with a full slate of games.
